The Selection of Best Vaud Wines

The Selection of Best Vaud Wines (Sélection des Vins Vaudois) is the most prestigious wine competition in the canton and the one most appreciated by our wine producers, who also take part throughout the year in a number of well-known national and international competitions. See below for the Vaud wines that have won awards during the year. Over 718 white, red, rosé, sparkling and sweet Vaud wines were tasted by a panel of 68 tasters on May 23rd and 24th! During the two mornings devoted to the Sélection des Vins Vaudois 2023, the experts - meeting in Froideville - awarded no fewer than 217 medals, including 67 Gold and 150 Silver.

The top three in each category are known, but the final ranking will be revealed at the Sélection des Vins Vaudois 2023 awards ceremony on July 3, 2023, at the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic in Montreux.

The awards ceremony is open to all! Come and join us at the Sélection des Vins Vaudois 2023 awards ceremony in Montreux, and get a sneak preview of the best Vaud wines! Program: awards ceremony for the winning winemakers, followed by an aperitif during which you can taste the best wines in each category in the presence of the winemakers. Entrance fee: CHF 40.
